Card payments run through Stripe and need business verification (KYC). Stripe sets how long the review takes, and some businesses wait a few days.

- Square account with admin access, connected to Maple through StreamOrders
- A Maple Pro plan, which includes phone ordering and POS integrations
- KYC documents ready

Square-Specific Features
- Menu sync through StreamOrders: changes in Square usually reach Maple within 5 to 10 minutes
- Modifier support
- Items you turn off or mark sold out in Square show as unavailable once StreamOrders passes the change on
- Each Square size or variation shows up in Maple as its own item
- Square reporting categories do not sync
Payment Configuration
- Every Square order is paid by card through a payment link Maple texts to the caller (Stripe)
- Apple Pay and Google Pay on the payment page
- Pay in store and cash on pickup are not available
- Tips may not appear as Square tips in your Square reports
